Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of both the Fierce five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. In the 2012 Olympics in London she won gold medals for team and floor competitions and bronze in the balance beam. This made her the first American gymnast of the Olympics with the highest number of medals. She took gold in the team competition at the 2016 Olympics this made her and Gabby Douglas the first Americans to have back-to-back golds. The silver medals also came at the all-around event and floor routines. The break was for three years between the two Olympics from competitive gymnastics. In addition, she was part of the gold medal winning American teams at 2 World Championships. At the age of 2 when she started to study gymnastics. Her favorite sport is doing floor exercises. Aly is a member of her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in honor of her grandmother who died due to cancer. As for the future, she plans to make a career by avoiding fashion. She would also like to broaden her leotards and socks collection. Fierce is a novel she's working on, will come out later this year.
